I was a Montessori teacher for 25 years and became very close with the families of the children I taught. When there was a death in the family they often consulted me about a way to comfort their children and I would loan them books to read with them. I wrote this book as a tool for parents to open the conversation about death with their child. The question of faith is purposely left open for the family’ to interpret.
